See Program
Trio Sonnerie, Monica Huggett’s longest running and smallest group, comes from the UK to present the choicest pick of Europe’s chamber music from the Baroque period. Biber’s astonishing “Mystery Sonatas” for virtuoso violin contrast with exquisitely refined French music for viola da gamba and sprightly tunes from Jacobean England. Of course, the Harmony of Nations wouldn’t be complete without JS Bach, here represented by a magnificent sonata for violin and harpsichord.
