Dear Friends of Houston Early Music,
I am writing, first, to thank you warmly for your past support of Houston Early Music, and second, to make an urgent plea for your further support. In short, the long-term effects of a lingering recession threaten our ability to continue bringing world-class early music talent to Houston. Our situation is this: revenue from individual, foundation and government arts funding has decreased while the expenses of venue rentals, artist’s travel expenses, and postage have all increased. If you shop at Kroger, your Kroger Plus Card can benefit Houston Early Music. Kroger donates a portion of its sales to us every time you shop and use your card. All you need to do is
- Click on this link, print the Customer Letter for Houston Early Music
- Take the letter and your Kroger Plus Card with you to Kroger next time you go shopping
- Present the letter to your cashier on checkout and ask him to enroll your Kroger Plus Card
You can enroll anytime between now and December 31, 2011. (The sooner you enroll, the sooner Houston Early Music receives benefits.) You must re-enroll each year of the program.

We are working on upgrading our email list service to ensure more reliable delivery and improve the quality of our communications. We will move all current subscribers to the new list after we configure and test it. We will also send messages to the old list to make sure that you are receiving the new email.
