We have a new email list server for our patron newsletter Houston Early Music News. If you were subscribed to the previous Yahoo Group then within the next 24 hours you should receive notice of the change as well as our latest (August 25) newsletter.
If you did, there is nothing you need to do to continue receiving the newsletter. If you did not receive these messages, then you should check your spam filter and register info@HoustonEarlyMusic.org as a valid contact.
The previous Yahoo Group is now inactive. However, you may receive one more reminder of the change, just to ensure that all our subscribers are aware.

Our first program will be

Fri., Sept. 26, 2008, 8:00PM LA DONNA MUSICALE THE PLEASURES OF LOVE AND LIBATION: Airs by Julie Pinel and other Parisian women. First Evangelical Lutheran Church 1311 Holman (at Caroline)
Boston-based La Donna Musicale is dedicated to the research and the historical performance of music by women composers. Their concert recreates the luxuriant environment of an intimate Parisian salon, replete with the sounds of voices in solo, duo, and trio settings, with flute accompaniment and supported by the captivating tones of the harpsichord, and viola da gamba. Tickets are $30 for general admission, $25 for seniors, $10 for students, under 15 free. Tickets may be purchased at the door or by calling (after Sept. 14) 713-432-1744.
