January and February can feel like a quiet time after all the holiday pandemonium has died down, but there are some musical events coming up in Austin to take note of! Friday, January 29 – Harmonia Ariosa, a concert of Baroque music featuring Laurie Young Stevens, Manfredo Kraemer, Paul Leenhouts, Phoebe Carrai and a galaxy of other early music stars;  8pm, St Mary’s Cathedral in downtown Austin; more details at the Texas Early Music Project Website, http://www.early-music.org/ .
